Scholarships and allowance
Doctoral scholarships
The Doctoral School of Natural and Agricultural Sciences provides doctoral students, including foreigners, with a monthly scholarship paid for 4 years. In accordance with the order of the Director of IB PAS No. 3 of April 24, 2026, in the academic year 2025/2026, it is not less than:
- 3,570.50 PLN (gross) – by the month of the mid-term evaluation,
- 5,500.50 PLN (gross) – after the month of the mid-term evaluation.
A doctoral scholarship is not entitled to a doctoral student whose study at the Doctoral School entails the obligation to be employed at the Managing Unit under an employment contract with a salary higher than that of a professor e.g. 9,650 PLN gross.
The Doctoral School, apart from the abovementioned scholarship, does not provide doctoral students, including foreigners, with any living services, such as accommodation or meals. Receiving a scholarship provided by the doctoral students does not prevent them from applying for scholarships from other funding sources (e.g. National Science Centre, Foundation for Polish Science, etc.).
