Doctoral School of Natural and Agricultural Sciences received a positive evaluation of education quality

We are pleased to announce that the Committee for the Evaluation of Science has positively assessed the quality of education provided by the Doctoral School of Natural and Agricultural Sciences, run jointly by the W. Szafer Institute of Botany PAS (Polish Academy of Sciences), the Franciszek Górski Institute of Plant Physiology PAS, the Institute of Nature Conservation PAS, the Institute of Systematics and Evolution of Animals PAS, and the National Research Institute of Animal Production. The evaluation covered the period from 1 October 2019 to 11 May 2025.

The evaluation panel confirmed the high quality and coherence of the education process, its compliance with the requirements of Level 8 of the Polish Qualifications Framework (PQF), and effective support for doctoral students through individual research plans. The panel also highlighted the Doctoral School’s high organizational, teaching and scientific standards, as well as its interdisciplinary character and internationalization. The transparency of recruitment, the reliability of the mid-term evaluation process for doctoral students, and partnership-based cooperation with doctoral candidates were also positively assessed. Recommendations were also formulated that may contribute to further improving the functioning of the Doctoral School.
