Professor Ryszard Ochyra ranked among the top scientists in the Research.com ranking

We are proud to announce that Professor Ryszard Ochyra was ranked 6th among scientists from Poland and 2680th worldwide in the "Best Plant Science and Agronomy Scientists 2026" ranking, prepared by the international platform Research.com.

Professor Ryszard Ochyra is an outstanding bryologist who has been scientifically and professionally associated with the W. Szafer Institute of Botany, Polish Academy of Sciences, for more than 50 years. He served, among others, as Head of the Department of Bryology and editor of numerous scientific publications. He currently holds the position of Honorary Curator of our scientific collections.
