Summary

This study is the sixth part of the MYXOTROPIC long-term research project to assess the species diversity of Myxomycetes and Arcelinida living in the Neotropics and understand their role in the ecosystem of the region. The project covers all major habitat types found in South America; the sixth part focuses mainly on salt areas.
